PRELIMINARY OPERATIONS AND WARNINGS
Open the SIM card cover on the back side of GSMC2G and insert your SIM card, as for a standard
cell phone/smartphone;
Default password is "1234". The word "pwd" in the following instructions means that the password
must be entered (1234 if it has not been changed);
GSMC2G must be programmed and managed by the administrator through SMS text commands
written in CAPITAL LETTER;
If GSMC2G receiver is not reachable or if you do not receive any SMS response (if enabled), try
adding the national prefix to the GSM SIM card number (e.g. +39 for Italy);
For security reasons, GSMC2G will not respond with SMS if the typed command is incorrect. Simply
the GSMC2G will not consider the command;
Initializing GSM with SIM card (mandatory operation)
Send to GSMC2G SIM card number:

Changing the password
Send to GSMC2G SIM card number:

1492. GSMC2G will send a SMS message: “Password changed to 1492, please remember it
carefully.”.
The administrator of GSM receiver will be anyone who knows the password!
