Method of Use
This appliance is not intended for use by persons (including children)
with reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities, or lack of
experience and knowledge, unless they have been given supervision
or instruction concerning use of the appliance by a person
responsible for their safety. Children should be supervised to ensure
that they do not play with the appliance.
This appliance is only for household use or environments of a
similar character such as :
• kitchens that are used by personnel of shops, office or other
similar professional environments.
• Farms
• Hotel rooms and motel rooms and other similar environments
with a residential character.
• Bed and breakfast or similar.
Attention : this appliance may not be used with an external timer or
seperate remote control.
Provide two 1.5 V AAA batteries (not included).
Open the lid of the battery compartment
on the back of the unit. Remove the old
batteries. Insert two new batteries. Make
sure that the + and - are in the correct position.
There is a switch on the back of the appliance for
changing the display from kg to lb.
Place the scale on a flat hard surface.
Step carefully onto the scales. The appliance
will automatically switch on. Stand up straight
on the scales without moving and wait for
a bleep. Step off the scale.
Look at the results displayed in the middle of the
scales.
