4 Installation
DANGER! CARBON MONOXIDE POISONING
HAZARD.
This product can produce carbon monoxide,
which has no odor and can be life-threatening.
Avoid improper adjustment, alterations, service,
or maintenance. Follow instructions for the proper
installation of this appliance. Failure to obey
this danger notification can result in improper
installation causing carbon monoxide poisoning
that will result in death or serious injury.
WARNING: FIRE AND/OR ELECTRICAL SHOCK
HAZARD. Failure to obey the following
warnings could result in death or serious
injury:
• Make sure there are no obstacles (wires, pipes,
etc.) inside of the RV roof or walls at the installation
locations.
• Shut off the gas supply, disconnect the 120 VAC
power from RV, and disconnect the positive (+) 12
VDC terminal from supply battery before drilling or
cutting into the RV.
WARNING: ELECTRICAL GROUNDING
INSTRUCTIONS.
This appliance is equipped with a three-prong
(grounding) plug for your protection against shock
hazards and should be plugged directly into a
properly grounded three-prong receptacle. Do not
cut or remove the grounding prong from this plug.
Failure to obey this warning could result in death or
serious injury.

This is a common installation for water heaters.
There are other approved methods such as
Baggage Compartment and Flush Mount
installations. Consult your Field Auditor, Account
Manager, or the Dometic Service Department if you
have questions.
