1 Safety instructions

WARNING! Failure to obey these warnings could result in death or serious
injury.
• Installation and removal of the roof air conditioner may only be carried out by
qualified personnel who are familiar with the risks involved when handling refrigerant
and air conditioning systems as well as the relevant regulations.
• Do not operate the device if it is visibly damaged.
• Do not use the device near flammable fluids or in closed rooms.
• Ensure that no combustible objects are stored or installed near the air outlet. A dis-
tance of at least 50 cm must be kept.
• Do not open or damage the refrigerant circuit under any circumstances.
• Always disconnect the power supply when working on the device.
• Do not make any alterations or conversions to the device.
• This device may only be repaired by qualified personnel who are familiar with the risks
involved and the relevant regulations. Improper repairs can lead to considerable haz-
