Safety information concerning operation of the device
DANGER!
Never touch uninsulated wire with your bare hands. This instruction applies in particular when
working with AC power.
Do not use any electrical equipment within the cooling unit apart from equipment recommended
by the manufacturer for this purpose.
Do not place the device in the vicinity of open flames or other heat sources (heating, strong sun-
light, gas ovens, etc.).
WARNING
When the cooling unit is connected to the vehicle's 12-V socket:
Disconnect or switch off the cooling unit when you switch off the engine. Otherwise, the battery
may be discharged.
When operating the unit while the vehicle is not running, always ensure that your power supply/
battery still has sufficient capacity.
Disconnect your cooling unit and other electrical consumers from the battery before connecting
a quick charger.
WARNING
Risk of overheating!
Always make sure that the heat generated during use can be adequately dissipated. Make sure
that the device is a sufficient distance away from walls and other objects so that the air can circu-
late.
Do not place multiple portable electric sockets or portable power supplies on the back of the de-
vice.
Make sure that the ventilation openings are not covered.
Do not pour liquids or ice into the internal container.
Never immerse the device in water.
Protect the device and the cable from heat and moisture.
Caution
Before commissioning, make sure that the connection cable and plug are dry.

Intended use
The cooling unit is suitable for cooling or heating food.
The device is suitable for use with:

An on-board 12-V power supply in a vehicle (e.g. cigarette lighter), boat or caravan
The device is also suitable for use while camping. The device must not exposed to rain.
Note
To ensure safety in the vehicle interior, the cool box must be transported in the vehicle's luggage compart-
ment.
