To obtain an even golden brown result, you can slightly butter the side of the

bread which will be  in contact with the plate.

Lay the slices of bread with the buttered side on the lower cooking plate

Place your filling and cover with the second slices of bread with buttered side

up.

Note

:  You can toast only one sandwich if you wish. For  optimal  result,

fillings should be placed well within the middle of the sandwich slices.

Lower the upper cooking plate carefully onto the bread until the sandwich

maker is tightly clamped then lock in place with the handle clip

After 2 - 3 minutes, open the sandwich maker and check whether the toasted

sandwich is sufficiently ‘brown’.

Note

: The cooking time required to obtain crisp brown sandwiches depends

on the type of bread, fillings and your personal taste.

When the sandwich is ready, open the lid and carefully remove with the help

of a wooden spatula. Always use heat-resistant plastic utensils or wooden

utensils. Do not use metal utensils which may damage the anti-stick surface

of the plates.

If making more sandwiches, close the lid to preserve the heat until ready to

toast the next sandwiches, otherwise, remove the plug from the wall socket

and allow to cool down before cleaning and storing.

Note

: During cooking, the  Green  “Ready to cook”  indicator  light  cycles on

and off indicating the appliance is maintaining the correct temperature.

This appliance has a carrying handle at  the front to facilitate comfortable

transport. Do Not Carry by the cord.

The grill may generate steam from between the grill plates while cooking and

when the top plate is opened. Take care to prevent injury.

4  Care Of Your Product

After use and before cleaning, remove the plug and wait for the appliance to cool.

Wipe the inside and edges of the heating plates with absorbent paper towel or a

soft cloth.

Should any filling be difficult to remove, pour a little cooking oil onto the heating

plate and re-heat for 1-2 minutes. Turn the power off and wipe off after 5 minutes

when the oil has cooled enough to prevent injury and the filling has softened.
