Removing the Housing
To
remove
the
housing:
1.
Remove
the
four
screws
from
the
corners
of
the
front
panel.
Store
the
screws
nearby.

Remove
the
rear
housing.
2.2
Connecting the Interface Cable
Follow
these
steps:
1.
Select
the
cable
you
intend
to
use
to
connect
to
the
CP750.
Use
a
Cat
5
cable
or
better.
2.
Slide
a
rubber
or
neoprene
grommet
or
conduit
bushing
onto
the
cable
to
prevent
wear
on
the
cable
from
the
metal
edge
of
the
hole
you
create.
3.
Make
a
hole
in
the
housing
for
the
interface
wire.
The
diameter
of
the
hole
you
make
should
be
the
same
as
the
diameter
of
the
cable
grommet
or
conduit
bushing.
We
recommend
you
place
the
hole
on
the
bottom
if
the
remote
fader
will
be
mounted,
or
on
a
side
if
the
fader
will
stand
alone.
4.
Thread
the
interface
wire
through
the
hole
in
the
housing
and
connect
an
RJ45
connector
to
the
end
of
the
wire.
5.
Plug
the
newly
wired
connector
into
J1
on
the
remote
fader
cirucit
board.
6.
Using
the
two
holes
in
the
cicuit
board
along
with
the
included
wire
tie,
secure
the
cable
as
shown
in
Figure
2

Reattaching the Housing
Secure
the
front
panel
to
the
housing
with
the
screws
that
were
removed
in
Step
1.
Caution:
Do
not
touch
circuit
board
components.
Static
electricity
can
damage
components.
