PLAYING A MICRO USB DEVICE
1. Follow the instructions for docking a microUSB device.
2. The device will play music from "Music" folder only and cannot read the music from
sub folders.
3. The speaker prioritizes to play the music from mass storage of the mobile device. If
you want to play the music from a microSD card, please press “MUTE
”
for 2-3
seconds.
4. Press the Play/Pause button on the top panel to begin play and stop music from the
docked device.
5. Press the Prev/Next buttons on the top panel to select music from the docked
device.
CHARGING YOUR MICRO USB DEVICE
You can charge your microUSB device via the dock in either Standby or operation mode.
Your microUSB device will automatically begin charging when it is docked.
USING BLUETOOTH
1. Turn the unit on. Press MODE switch to Bluetooth mode, the Bluetooth LED
indicator will flash in blue, which means it is in Bluetooth mode.
2. Long press “Play/Pause” key for 3-5 seconds and you will hear a “DU” sound and
the LED indicator will blink. This means the speaker is in pairing mode.
3. Turn on Bluetooth in your mobile device, and ensure it is in “searching device”
mode. Found DTSi160 and select it.
4. Once the unit is found, enter password “0000” to connect with your mobile device
(some devices may not need password).
5. The blue LED indicator will light up and you will hear a “DU” sound if the connection
was successful.
6. If the device cannot find the unit or cannot pair - please power on again and repeat
the above step.
7. It will automatically reconnect to the previously paired device each time it enters
Bluetooth mode. If the unit cannot automatically connect to the previously paired
device, please restart the Bluetooth in your mobile device and follow above steps to
finish connection.
8. If the devices are far away from each other (over 10 meters) the connection
between speaker and mobile device will be lost and the unit will go back to
Bluetooth standby mode. Ensure the Bluetooth in your mobile device is in
“searching device” mode. Keep on pressing “Play/Pause” (pairing) on the top panel,
and then follow above steps to reconnect it.
