Risks and protective measures
WARNING!
It is strictly forbidden to switch off, modify, block, disassemble or install parts on the safety and
protection parts of the machine. It can lead to serious or life-threatening injuries if this is not
observed. DK-TEC cannot be held responsible for material and personal damage that occurs as a
result of such negligence. Any warranty claims do not apply to negligence mentioned above.

splitting due to
hydraulic blade
lowering.
Risk of split wood being
pressed. Be aware that
the wood is strongly
tensioned when it is
removed, whereby your
fingers can be pinched
in the clover crack.
Only use the clover with the use
of both hands. Do not reach into
the cleavage.
Never operate the machine with
two people.
Split only jammed wood. There
must be supported to hold the tree
after splitting. Be aware of falling
wood as this can injure the
operator.
A device for holding the tree
before and during splitting
must be present.
Any worn or
damaged aid
must be replaced
immediately. Be
aware of
spectators!
Safety shoes must
always be worn
when working with
the machine.
Cleavage
Parts of the body can be
jammed or amputated
when cleaving with
hydraulic knife lowering.
Only use the clover with the use
of both hands. Do not reach into
the cleavage.
Any worn or
damaged aid
must be replaced
immediately.
General
damage
When processing dry
wood, intensive
splitting can cause
serious damage.
Logs created during
splitting can fall down
and injure, in
particular, the
operator's legs.
Do not reach into the cleavage.
Always maintain a sufficient safety
distance.
The machine must always be
operated carefully.
Wear specified protective clothing,
safety shoes and goggles at all
times. Be careful.
Any worn or
