INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS
Remove mower deck from chassis. Refer to

Operator's Manual if necessary. Pull out defl ector
pin and remove defl ector chute. Remove existing
chute hinge support, retaining hardware for reuse.
Attach blower mount bracket to deck with existing

hardware and tighten to 70-80 ft./lbs.
Remove right pulley guard.

From under the mower deck, remove shaft from

right blade spindle.

Blades are sharp. Protect your hands
with gloves and/or wrap blades with a
heavy cloth when handling.
Install new shaft. Use existing deck pulley.

Install pulley and key from kit, as shown in illus-

tration. Secure with original fl at washer and bolt.
Orient the raised portion of pulley hub facing up.
Install idler pulley using 1½ bolt from the kit. Se-

cure with nyloc nut.
Individual preference for either HiLift or LoLift

blades may vary, depending on mowing conditions
and the type and heaviness of grass to be bagged.
Tighten blade, attaching hardware to 60-70 ft./lbs.
Attach blower housing assembly to mower deck

with blower housing butted snugly against dis-
charge opening and horizontal tip guard under
deck stiffener strap. Attach blower assembly to
blower mount bracket using defl ector pin removed
in Step 1. The outside wall of blower should be as
vertical as possible. If blower is tilted excessively
it could come off. If necessary, loosen hardware
in slots and reposition blower assembly. Tighten
mounting hardware securely.
Loosen tip guard hardware and position to contact
