INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS

Remove mower deck from chassis. Refer to Opera-

tor's Manual if necessary. Pull out defl ector pin and
remove defl ector chute. Remove existing chute
hinge support, retaining hardware for reuse.
Attach blower mount bracket to deck with existing

hardware and tighten to 70-80 ft./lbs.
Remove right pulley guard.

From under the mower deck, remove shaft from

right blade spindle.
WARNING!
Blades are sharp. Protect your hands
with gloves and/or wrap blades with a
heavy cloth when handling.
Install new shaft. Use existing deck pulley. Install

spacer and key from kit, as shown in illustration.
Install pulley and secure with original fl at washer
and 1½ bolt from kit. Orient the raised portion of
pulley hub to the bottom.
Install idler pulley using 1¾ bolt, placing spacer

under pulley. Secure with nyloc nut.
Individual preference for either HiLift or LoLift
7.
blades may vary, depending on mowing conditions
and type and heaviness of grass to be bagged.
Tighten blade, attaching hardware to 60-70 ft./lbs.
