CONNECT YOUR OTA ANTENNA TO YOUR TV 

Turn your TV on, and take note of 

the channel or input that it is on.

Connect your antenna to your TV’s 

Antenna In/Air/Cable port.

•  If your TV requires a conversion 

box, connect your antenna to 

the conversion box, and then 

connect the box to the TV.

Using the buttons on your TV, or 

your TV remote, press the Menu/

Settings,/Home button.

Select Channel/Setup/Auto Tuning/

Installation/System.

•  If you are prompted to select Air 

or Cable, select Air.

 

Select Scan Channels/Program 

Channels/Autoscan/Autoprogram.

Select Start/Enter/OK to start scanning 

and adding channels to your TV’s 

channel lineup. Select OK/Done to 

complete your scan.

CONNECT YOUR OTA ANTENNA TO YOUR RECEIVER

Attach the coax cable from your 

OTA antenna to the coax port on 

your OTA adapter.

Connect the USB end of your OTA 

adapter to the USB port on your DISH 

receiver.

Turn your television and receiver 

on. Then, open the Menu for your 

receiver. 

Select “System Setup” on your screen, 

and then select “Local Channels.”

Select “Scan Channels.”

•  This scan could take up to 

five minutes to complete. 

When it is complete, you 

will see a list of the OTA 

channels that your antenna 

found.

When the popup appears, select “OK” 

and then select “Done.”
