Requirements:
Radio with cd changer controls
Introduction
Many Jaguar owners looking for a simple way to connect Apple iPods will be
pleased to know the iP-JAG97 adapter does exactly that. The iP-JAG97 adapter
provides a 30-pin dock connector for charging and playback from any Apple
30-
pin iPod and iPhone
. This adapter connects directly to the CD changer port at
the radio and replaces CD changer (if present). To retain CD changer playback

Installation
Warning

The IP-JAG97 connects to radio and replaces CD changer (if
present)

Gain access to the back of the radio. If you have never done this before,

Locate CD port on radio (if prewired, disconnect cable from radio)

Connect
adapter’s
8-pin plug to
“CD”
port on radio. (See
Fig. 1
)

Connect 8-pin min-din plug from dock connector to the 8-pin mini-DIN
connector on module (See
Fig. 3
) and route 30-pin dock (See
Fig.2
) to
desired location on dashboard, glove box, console etc. Use caution to
not cut, pinch or crimp the cable during this step.
