Remove HTD Seat/WPR RLY (heated seat/wiper relay) fuse from fuse
box. (See alternate 12V accessory sources on next page).
Accessory
supply ensures module turns “ON” only when vehicle is in operation.

Insert factory fuse from step 12 to empty fuse slot on fuse tap (See
Fig. 7
)

Insert fuse tap to fuse box slot vacated in step 12
Noteworthy:
If heated seat/wiper relay fuse is missing, fuse tap empty
slot remains empty. Turn ignition “ON” to verify module LED is flashing,
otherwise user voltmeter or test light to test fuse slot for power
and/or
check crimp integrity
as often times a bad crimp could result
in no power. Other possible sources for accessory supply are circled
below.
