Introduction
With Bluetooth technology and a Smartphone; C5 Corvette radios without
dedicated AUX port are able to stream applications on the car speakers thanks
to the A2D-C5FM. The A2D-C5FM kit is designed to install in line with the radio FM
antenna using the included antenna adapter kit.
The A2D-C5FM works through
the FM band and does not interfere with normal radio operation
nor other
factory options. This is an FM modulation kit which differs from FM transmitters
as the later tends to produce additional interference. Installation is a simple
plug-n-play affair and is hidden behind the dash. Although this may not be the
“perfect” audio solution, it’s the best solution we currently offer for C5 owners
without CD changers.
Installation-

This module is installed behind radio cavity.
The PXHGM4 installation harness (included) allows the A2D-
C5FM to connect behind the dash.
Radio removal required for
this install. This kit does not connect in trunk/hatch.

Locate radio 20-pin plug, press black release tab to disconnect (See
Fig. 1

Connect 20-pin plug from step 1, to matting socket (white) on
installation harness (See
Fig. 2
).
