Setting up your MIDI Devices:
For the Strymon pedals, press and hold the Parameters encoder to enter the Globals menu. Set the Globals as
indicated:

Line 6 M5 / M9:
Set the MIDI channel to 2 and disable Autosave. The DMC sends expression to Pedal 1 only.
Eventide Factor / Space / H9:
Set the MIDI channel to 2 if using as the “A” device, or 2 if using as the “B” device. Map the following commands
in the MIDI menu or using the iOS / Mac / PC app:
If using the Eventide device as the only connected device, or as the “A” device, map the following:
EXPRESSION / HOTKNOB CC100
PERFORMANCE SWITCH CC97
TAP TEMPO or TUNER CC93
ACTIVATE THE PEDAL CC102
If using the Eventide device as the “B” device, map the following:
EXPRESISON / HOTKNOB CC30
PERFORMANCE SWITCH CC50
TAP TEMPO or TUNER CC93
ACTIVATE THE PEDAL CC40

Operation:
The DMC has several available modes, which are accessed by tapping the mode button (center button on DMC-‐
3XL Gen2, upper-‐right on DMC-‐4 Gen2.) The functions in each mode are as follows:
Scrolling Modes A and B available with standard firmware.
Scrolling Modes A, B, C, and T available with Trinity firmware only.
Button 1 (Left)
Tap: Bank or Program down.
Hold: Send “B” command in bank mode, fast scrolling down in program mode.
Button 2 (Right)
Tap: Bank or Program up.
Hold: Send “A” command in bank mode, fast scrolling up in program mode.
Mode Button:
Tap: Next Mode.
Hold: Bypass current device.
Trinity Firmware: T mode sends bank or program messages to all three connected devices.
