Safety instructions
2.1
About the Operating Manual
Read this operating manual completely be-
fore using the appliance.
Keep the operating manual in a safe place. If
you pass the appliance on to someone else,
give them the operating manual as well.
Non-compliance with these instructions
can lead to serious injuries or damage to
the appliance.
We assume no liability for damage that occurs
as a result of non-compliance with this operat-
ing manual.

Re: Certain groups of persons
This appliance can be used by children
aged from 8 years and above and persons
with reduced physical, sensory or mental ca-
pabilities or lack of experience and knowledge
if they have been given supervision or instruc-
tion concerning use of the appliance in a safe
way and understand the hazards involved.
Children shall not play with the appliance.
Cleaning and user maintenance shall not be
made by children without supervision. Keep
the appliance out of reach of people of these
groups.
For reasons of safety we strongly recom-
mend that even children aged from 8 years
and above do not operate the device as they
definitely cannot understand all specific dan-
gers arising from it.
Packing material must not be used to play
with. There is danger of suffocation.
People with sensory problems, especially
with reduced sensitivity for temperature differ-
ences, must use great caution when working
with this appliance.
2.3
Re: Power supply
The appliance is charged and operated with
electricity so there is always the risk of an
electric shock. So please especially observe
the following:
Never touch the mains plug with wet
hands. Always pull directly at the plug if you
want to disconnect the appliance from the
mains. Never pull on the cable as this could
damage it.
Never carry the appliance by its power
cord. Take care that the power cord is not
bent, pinched, rolled over or touches heat
sources. Also take care that it does not be-
come a stumbling-hazard.
Never immerse the appliance in water or
other liquids. Always use the supplied refilling
container to fill the water tank. Keep the other
parts of the appliance dry.
Before connecting to the power supply,
make sure that the voltage stated on the type
plate matches the voltage of your plug socket.
Only use sockets with a ground/safety con-
tact.
Only fill up the water tank after completing
cleaning and when the mains plug is pulled
out.
Always check the power cord for possible
damage before using the appliance.
