Daily use

Only fill the kettle as described under
Z
Chapter 3.2, "Filling"

Push the „
ON
/
OFF
“ (Fig. 3/1.), switch to
switch on the kettle.
The red indicator-light shows that the ap-
pliance is heating. The indicator shows the
set temperature of „
30
“.

Now set the desired temperature by turn-
ing the control knob (Fig. 4/2.).
- By turning clockwise you increase the
temperature 5 °C steps.
- By turning counter-clockwise you de-
crease the temperature 5 °C steps.
The lowest temperature you can set is
30 °C.
The water kettle now heats the water to the
desired temperature and then switches off au-
tomatically. The red indicator-light then goes
off.

Quick adjustment
By depressing the temperature control
knob once you can directly set the highest
possible temperature (Fig. 5) for boiling wa-
ter.
WARNING:
The kettle must not be heated with lid open
or missing. There is danger of burning by
spattering water.

NOTE:
If the control knob is turned clockwise a fur-
ther step when the display shows „

“ the
selected temperature indicator will show
two moving bars (Fig. 5) indicating the max-
imum possible temperature. This means
that the water is brought to a boil, regard-
less of the amount in the kettle.
NOTE:
The heating is cut off if you remove the ket-
tle from the base. The set-temperature indi-
cator shows „
EE
“. When you set the kettle
back onto the base, the set temperature is
shown again and the heating resumes.
NOTE:
By pressing the On/Off switch „
ON
/
OFF
“
during heating you can end the heating
process at any time. The red indicator-light
then goes off.
