Disconnect the VCR from the power source
before cleaning.

Do not use liquid or aerosol cleaners on or
in the VCR.

Use a dry cloth to dust the VCR.

Keep the remote control with the VCR and
secure it in such a manner that it is unlike-
ly to be lost or damaged.

Keep liquids away from the VCR. A spill on
the VCR can damage the electronics and
cause electric shock or fire.

VIDEO HEAD CLEANING

If poor playback qualities (snow, distortion,

streaking, etc.) develop and persist, the unit’s

videoheads may need cleaning. If necessary,

purchase a head cleaning cassette. Do not clean

the heads excessively.

When using a head cleaning cassette, read all

instructions carefully; incorrect head cleaning

can permanently damage the video heads.
