Care & Maintenance
• Routinely inspect legrest carriers for proper installation and function. Discontinue use if product is damaged.
• Installation straps may be replaced if they become worn over time.
• Carriers may be wiped clean using mild detergent or quaternary disinfectant.
• If laundering is needed, machine wash in cold water in gentle cycle in a front-load washer. Do not launder with
other laundry. Air-dry or tumble dry with no heat only. Do not launder installation straps.
• If legrest carriers become wet, air-dry at room temperature or tumble dry with no heat before resuming use.
• Legrests must be completely folded before being
stowed in the legrest carriers –
see figure 4.
• Insert one legrest into each legrest carrier –
see
figure 5.
NOTE:
Footplate must be inserted first (footplate
will be facing down when stowed).
NOTE:
The legrest’s mounting hardware
should be next to the back of the wheelchair
when stowed.
• Stow legrests in the carrier when not in use on
the wheelchair – see figure 6.
NOTE:
Wheelchair may be folded while legrest
carriers are installed/in use.
