Turn the long handscrew clockwise until the knob motor’s rotor contacts the focus knob
of the Dino-Lite, then another ½ to 1 turn for appropriate traction.

If the knob motor rotor turns but the Dino-Lite focus knob doesn’t:

If the knob motor rotor does not rotate:

Make sure the focus knob is in the unlocked position if the Dino-Lite
has the scroll lock feature.
Make  sure  the  Dino-Lite  focus  knob  has  not  reached  the  end  by
rotating the knob in the other direction.
There  maybe  not  enough  contact  between  the  knob  motor  and
Dino-Lite  knob;  try  tightening  the  long  handscrew  another  ½  to  1
turn.

Make  sure  the  Dino-Lite  focus  knob  has  not  reached  the  end  by
rotating the knob in the other direction.
There  maybe  not  enough  torque  to  rotate  the  Dino-Lite  knob;  try
switching the torque to 2 on the control box(See control box functions)
for more torque.
There is possibly too much pressure between the rotor and Dino-Lite
knob; try loosening the long handscrew.
