5. Installation and putting into operation
• The level meter is installed in a
vertical posi-
tion
on the console or into the upper lid of the
tank or reservoir using a lug, a fastening nut or
a flange in such a way that the axis of the device
is perpendicular to the level of the measured
liquid (Fig. 1b). The level meter shall be installed
in places with no risk of mechanical damage to
the front of the sensor.
