2 Scope of supply
2.1 General description
The flow rate meter is a measuring and control device which is
used to record the volume of water to be drawn for a central do-
mestic hot water heater on the cold water inlet.
This enables the cylinder temperature to be lowered in accord-
ance with DIN 1988-200 during high water exchange to enable
the domestic hot water cylinder to be heated more efficiently with
a heat pump, for example.
NOTE

The function of the electric supplementary heater and the DFM 1988 must
be ensured by the system operator through regular checks (see Cap. 4.3
on pag. 9)

2.2 Scope of supply
The following components are included in the scope of supply:

flow sensor and NTC-10 temperature sensor)
