UNPACKING INSTRUCTIONS 
 

1. Remove firebox from carton. 
2.  Carefully lay unit on it’s back. 
3.  Remove screws from the left and right side of the front glass lower support. 
4.  Carefully insert the tip of a slot screwdriver between the glass edge and either the left 

or right side trim. 

5.  Using the screwdriver as a lever, gently apply pressure in a downward motion, forcing 

the edge of the glass up. 

6.  Remove packing foam from the top of the log set. 
7.  Pull the front edge of the plastic ember bed or plastic grate up and forward until the 

rear tab releases from the ledge located at the bottom. 

8.  Remove packing material from around the log set. 
9.  Clean front glass if needed.
