5. SET UP
1. Remove the battery cover and insert a 9 V battery (see section 5.1) and/or connect a 9 V adapter.
2. Install the device on a plane surface.
3. Connect your instrument with the input socket.
4. Connect your amp with the output socket.
The effect pedal has no power switch. As soon as you insert a jack into the input socket, it beginns
running. Remove the jack from the input socket when the unit is not in use. This extends the life of the
battery.
5.1 Inserting/Replacing the battery
Please refer to the explanations under Operating Determinations.
Remove the battery cover on the bottom of the device. Insert the new battery and make sure that the poles
are correct. Replace the battery cover.
CAUTION!
Danger of explosion when battery is replaced improperly.
Only replace by the same type or similar types recommended by the manufacturer.
Remove empty battery in accordance with the instructions of the manufacturer.
In order to have a long battery life, you should only use alcaline batteries.
Unplug all jacks when the unit is not being used to conserve battery life.
BATTERY DISPOSAL NOTICE
Please dispose of old and used batteries properly.
Batteries are hazardous waste and should not be disposed of with regular domestic waste!
Please take old and used batteries to a collection center near you.
6. CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE
Disconnect from mains before starting maintenance operation!

We recommend a frequent cleaning of the device. Please use a soft lint-free and moistened cloth. Never use
alcohol or solvents!
There are no servicable parts inside the device except for the battery. Maintenance and service operations
are only to be carried out by authorized dealers.
In order to replace the battery please refer to "Inserting/exchanging battery".
Should you need any spare parts, please use genuine parts.
