Setting up the tripod for use on smooth even surfaces

1.

Remove the EVO PRO tripod from its case and make sure the

ground spreader

(28)

with its rubber shoes is attached.

2.

If spreader is not attached, place each spiked tripod foot into

the appropriate socket at the rubber foot end of each arm of the
spreader

(29)

, pulling the rubber sturrup up and over the spiked

foot shoulder to lock into place

(30)

.

3.

To adjust the tripod to the desired height, simply twist first the upper

and then the lower lock knobs and extend the legs, then twist the
knobs back into the locked position when the legs are at desired
length

(31)

. Make sure each lock is secured completely to prevent

the legs from slipping under the weight of the camera.

4.

The ground spreader is adjustable to increase or decrease the

sprawl of the tripod’s legs. To spread the tripod legs apart,
twist the adjustment knobs on each telescoping arm of the
spreader to loosen them, then adjust spreader arms at desired
spread. Lock the spreader arm position back down by twisting
adjustment knobs once more
