1.2 Monitor Installation
To connect your monitor:
1. Turn the power off on the monitor and the computer.
2. Position the monitor and the computer so that you can easily get
to the back panel of each system.
3. Connect the signal cable on the back of the monitor to the back of
the computer. If needed, refer to your computer owner’s manual.
4. Tighten the signal cable screws with a flat-head screwdriver.
5. Plug in the ac power cord to the monitor, then to a
properly-grounded ac electrical outlet.
6. Push the power switch button to turn on power to the monitor.
The power indicator
should light.
