Preparing for Installation
This chapter describes the contents of the shipment and provides important site verifi-
cation information to consider before installation.
2.1 Site Verification Checklist
Site verification ensures that the site has been properly prepared to accept the instal-
lation with a minimum of system downtime. Use the following checklist to verify all
site preparation tasks have been completed before beginning the DEC WANrouter
90 installation:
General
Determine where the router will be installed.
Ensure that the system manager is notified if you intend to shut down the
system during the installation.
