WebViewer
WebViewer is a Microsoft Internet Explorer® (IE) browser based DVR administrative tool. It is embedded in the DVR and loaded into
the browser when the DVR is accessed. The DVR can be accessed locally (on the same local network), or from a connection to the
Internet (remotely), depending on the network configuration. The URL (internet address) of the DVR is different depending the path
used to connect to it.
If your computer is on the same local network as the DVR you are accessing, the URL is the IP address shown in the DVR System
Information window. In the example shown below, the URL is the IP ADDRESS: 192.168.5.3.
If you are accessing your DVR remotely, your DVR may be addressed as a port forwarded through the router or device that connects
the network with the DVR to the Internet, or through an established DDNS web service connection such as WWW.OKDDNS.COM.

10.1 Connecting to the DVR with IE
After your DVR is setup on a local LAN, use IE to connect to it to verify the DVR connectability. This connection increases flexibility for
monitoring and configuring your security system.
Before you can connect to the DVR with IE, the (default) security settings in IE are modified slightly to allow it to install an software
from the DVR.

At your PC, load IE.

pull-down menu and select
Internet Options
. Click the
Security
tab.
