Hardware Installation - AC Powered Install
The Hardware installation (using 12V DC
Power) consists of removing the back plate and
installing cables to the Camera.
1. Remove the Back Plate: Once the plate is
removed, access to additional ports and AC
power becomes available:

C. The back plate can now be removed. Do not
disconnect the cable from the cooling fan.
2. Power: Connect the DC power cable to
the Camera Power port, located to the right
of the Ethernet Port.
To use an external power source, the other end of
the power cable will need to be stripped so it can
be run through the Waterproof cable screw.
Hardwire the camera to the power source.
3. Once the stripped end of the DC power cable is
run through the waterproof cable screw, secure the
waterproof cable screws and then reattach the
backplate securely. If adding optional connections,
skip this step and proceed to the next page.
B. Unscrew the 2 waterproof cable screws on
the bottom of the camera.
A. Use a phillips screwdriver to loosen the 4
corner screws on the back plate.
