Setup and Operation
Power
1. Remove the thermometer from the protective sleeve.
2. Press the
Power on/off
button to activate.
Taking Measurements
Insert the stem of the thermometer at least
1
⁄
2
" into the
testing area.
Note:
When the thermometer is initially powered on, the
LCD will display “- 0.0 °C” or “32.0 °F” for two seconds.
Then the actual temperature will display. To save battery
life, the thermometer will automatically turn off after
approximately 20 minutes.
Temperature Measurements
Press the
°C/°F
button to change the temperature
unit from °C to °F.
