13. Computer video players.
Although in most cases, the .avi video format can be recognized and played back on Windows and Mac
computers, sometimes a person’s computer has an out-of-date video player program and the video or audio will not show on their
computer screen. The most common symptom is when you can hear the video but not see it on the screen and the free upgraded
player fixes that. In this case, we recommend installing the free VLC video player from
www.videolan.org.
Dieselboss warranty policy for the inside cab, windshield cameras with SD card. ALL WARRANTY ISSUES MUST BE PRE-APPROVED AND
ISSUED AN RMA BY CALLING THE ABOVE NUMBER.
1. 1 year
Standard Replacement or Repair Warranty
: Windshield style cameras that are purchased from Dieselboss, Inc. (or its affiliates)
include a 1 year warranty, covering workmanship and material. If you encounter a warranty concern, please call us and we will assist in the
rest of the process. If our support department cannot resolve the problem over the phone, an RMA will be issued for the customer to return the
unit. Postage for items sent back to Dieselboss will be paid by the customer. Dieselboss will reimburse customer for return postage up to
$9.00 upon receipt and replacement, providing the camera is defective. If the camera is purchased through an affiliate, proof of purchase date
must be included.
2. The Extended Warranty
(option) - $14 at time of original purchase - extends the 1 year warranty to a total of 24 months from the date of
purchase for failures due to workmanship and material. All warranty issues must be called in and PRE-APPROVED.
Items not covered by the Extended Warranty option
. Not covered is abuse, cracked or broken screen or case. Accessories including, but
not limited to, 12 volt plug and suction cup are not covered after the original 90 day warranty. However we will replace the 12 volt plug and or
the mounting bracket at no cost for the part(s) but will charge shipping fee. SD memory cards are not covered. MUST BE CLASS 6 OR
HIGHER QUALITY.
3. Accidental Damage Warranty (option) -
$24 at time of original purchase - extends the 1 year warranty to a total of 24 months from the
date of purchase. Covers failures due to workmanship and material and any accidental damage. (Windshield cameras are not waterproof and
are to be used inside the vehicle.) All warranty issues must be called in for RMA authorization.
* Extended and Accidental Damage warranties can be used ONE time.
Once Dieselboss has issued an RMA number and replaced a unit
under either of these two options, that warranty is considered null and void and cannot be used again for that item. The customer has an
option of purchasing another extended or accidental damage warranty upon replacement or repair of unit. Additional extended or accidental
warranties cannot be purchased after one year of the original unit purchase date.
Affiliate purchasers have a 30 day grace period from the time of purchase to contact Dieselboss, Inc. and purchase EXTENDED WARRANTY
OR ADDIDENTAL WARRANTY with proof of purchase date.
Deliberate damage is not covered by any provisions of this warranty policy. Unit are repaired or replaced with the same, or a comparable unit.
