IZAR PULSE i | 3
2 INSTALLATION PRECAUTIONS
2.1 IDENTIFICATION
Ensure that IZAR PULSE i is compatible with the meter on which it is fitted:
(« Ti » or « Ha + Ti » marking). The installation of a non-return valve is not necessary as IZAR PULSE i is
able to manage backflow.
2.2 SECURING SYSTEM
• IZAR PULSE i features 3 fastening hooks
(fig. 3) to fit the module on Diehl Metering’s
modular inductive meter range.
•
A screw (fig. 4) tightens and loosens the
ring on the meter. This system makes the
assembly more secure while making it pos-
sible to remove the ring without damaging
the hooks.
• Put the sealing label (delivered with the
radio module) on the clamping screw.
2.3 INSTALLATION
• If there is a cover on the meter, remove it
by pushing out the hinge pin (fig. 5). If the
cover does not have a metal hinge, remove
it by hands.
• Carefully clean the top of the register to
remove any traces of soiling.
• Position IZAR PULSE i by aligning the hinges
up with each other (fig.6).
• Press the ring onto the module with your
hands only, until it clicks into place.
• Handle with care and do not use a mallet or
hammer as this may damage the electrical
components.

Avoid solvents or abrasive cleaners as these could damage the plastic shell.
If necessary, use a cloth or wet sponge to clean.
