8.1.3.2.1 CPU - Power Management Configuration
Boot performance mode: Selects the performance state that the BIOS will
set starting from reset vector.
Intel ® SpeedStep™ Enhanced Intel SpeedStep® Technology for en-
abling high performance while meeting the power-
conservation.
View/Configure Turbo Options: View/Configure Turbo Options
Platform PL1 Enable: Enable/Disable Platform Power Limit 1 program-
ming. If this option is enabled, it activates the PL1
value to be used by the processor to limit the aver-
age power of given time window.
Platform PL2 Enable: Enable/Disable Platform Power Limit 2 program-
ming. If this option is disabled, BIOS will program
the default values for Platform Power Limit 2.
Power Limit 4 Override: Enable/Disable Power Limit 4 Override. If this op-
tion is disabled, BIOS will leave the default values
for Power Limit 4.
