First Steps

Battery Charging

Use the provided USB to mini-USB cable

First remove the USB protection-lid to access the mini-USB connector on the

tracer, then plug in the connector. The USB-plug can be plugged into any

powered USB-connector on a PC. USB cable enclosed.
The lights indicate the charging progress if the power switch is in position

“off” (no indication is given if the power switch is in position “on”, but battery
charging will take place as well):

1. Starting:

short blink of yellow light.

Only occurs directly after connecting
the USB-cable.

2. Charging:

the green light goes on

and off periodically. The on/off-ratio
of the green light gives an indication
of the battery level.

3. Battery full:

the green light stays on

all the time.
