Operation Instructions

To  use  the  antenna  properly,  read  these  instructions 

thoroughly before using it. Keep this manual carefully at hand 

for later use.

  

Warning

1.Don’t touch the antenna during transmission. Touching the         

antenna during transmission may cause to electrify.

2.Don’t  install  the  antenna  where  is  easily  reachable  by 

people. It may cause to electrify. 

3.Be sure to check if nuts and screws are fastened firmly from  

time to time. If those are loosened, please refasten them.

4.The  connector  of  the  coaxial  cable  is  not  waterproofed. 

Please keep the connector dry. If the connector gets water, 

the antenna inside may be corroded or be damaged.

5.Install the antenna vertically. If the antenna is not vertical, 

the performance may be decreased. 

6.The  150MVHS  is  VHF  marine  antenna.  Don’t  use  the 

antenna besides this purpose. It may be damaged. 

Installation and Management

1.Install the antenna and the antenna base (not including) to 

meet the below requirements.

    

Install  the  antenna  vertically  and  don’t  get  water 

         too much.

2.Install the antenna base (not including) to meet the above 

requirements.

3.Lead the coaxial cable into the 16mm hole of the antenna 

base and fix it by the lock nut M16 and the internal tooth 

lock washer M16 (including). 

4.Insert the upper element into the antenna body and fix it by 

2pcs set screws M4X3 with the hexagon wrench firmly.

5.Bring the coaxial cable on board a ship and connect it with 

the antenna terminal of the transceiver.

break down the coaxial cable by door etc when wiring up.

Do not pull the coaxial cable from the base section strongly. 

It may be disconnected or damaged.
