Checking the radio link (control panel in test mode)

Briefly press the detector test button to change it to test mode. The red test indica-
tor light will come on while the button is pressed. After pressing the test button, you
can test movement detection for 90 seconds.

Check the control panel reacts.

Move in front of the detector once or several times. When you are detected, the
indicator light will come on. If necessary, modify the direction of the detector.

When the direction is correct, open the detector case and lock the adjustment axis
in position without over tightening.
After the test period, the detector goes into normal operation and the
indicator lamp no longer comes on each time someone is detected.

Perform a real system test.
CHANGING THE BATTERIES
The control panel indicates a motion detector battery fault when it is put into opera-
tion. To identify the faulty detector, press each test button; if the indicator lamp does
not light up, the battery must be changed. To change the battery:

take a remote control,

open the detector case whilst pressing the Stop button on the remote control (§
Opening),
