These fan connectors are used to connect cooling fans. The cooling fans will provide adequate

airflow throughout the chassis to prevent overheating the CPU and system board components.

The 4-pin fan provides PWM to modulate fan speed whereas the 3-pin fans do not.

BIOS Setting

Configure the Smart Fan function in the Advanced menu (“SIO NUVOTON6106D” submenu) of

the BIOS. Refer to chapter 3 for more information.
