BIOS Setup

SATA Confi guration

This section is used to confi gure SATA functions.

SATA Mode

IDE Mode
This option confi gures the Serial ATA drives as Parallel ATA storage devices.
AHCI Mode
This option allows the Serial ATA devices to use AHCI (Advanced Host Con-
troller Interface).
RAID Mode
This option allows you to create RAID or Intel Matrix Storage confi guration on
Serial ATA devices.

SATA Mode Selection

Determines how SATA controller(s) operate.

Enable or disable SATA
device.
