1. Inser t the CD that came with the system board package into a
CD-ROM drive. The autorun screen (Main Board Utility CD) will
appear.
2. Click “VIA PCI Audio Driver”.
3. Follow the prompts on the screen to complete installation.
4. Restar t the system.
2.5.4 Microsoft DirectX 8.0 Driver
1. Inser t the CD that came with the mainboard package into a
CD-ROM drive. The autorun screen (Main Board Utility CD) will
appear.
2. Click “Microsoft DirectX 8.0 Driver”.
3. Click “Yes” to continue.
4. Follow the prompts on the screen to complete installation.
5. Restar t the system.

1. "Autorun" ONLY supports the Windows
95, Windows
98,
Windows
98 SE, Windows
ME, Windows
2000, Windows
NT
4.0 and Windows
XP operating systems. If after inser ting
the CD, "Autorun" did not automatically star t (which is, the Main
Board Utility CD screen did not appear), please go directly to
the root directory of the CD and double-click "Setup".
2. Please go to DFI's web site at "http://www.dfi.com/suppor t1/
download2.asp" for the latest version of the drivers or software
applications.
3. All steps or procedures to install software drivers are subject to
change without notice as the softwares are occassionally updated.
