Cleaning the filter pads

Requirements

TORX T10 screw driver

WARNING

Do not attempt to remove filter covering plate when in operation.
Power off the instrument and disconnect the device from the power supply first.
Any voltage over 50 V connected to the modules must also be terminated.

Procedure

To clean the filter pads proceed as follows:

Switch-off the instrument and disconnect any high-voltage sensors/connectors.

Loosen 3 screws of the fan cover plate on the bottom side of the system using a TORX T10 screwdriver.

Remove the covering plate.

Remove the filter pads.

Clean the filterpads with a dry velocity stream of air.

Reinsert the cleaned filter pads and gently tap them.

Remount the covering plate by re-tightening the 3 screws using a TORX T10 screwdriver.

NOTICE

Do not switch on the instrument before the covering plate has not been fully reattached.

The filter pad cleaning procedure is now finished.
