The battery pack and the battery charger

are delivered in separate boxes. Please

ensure you have well received these

boxes and check the contents.

INSTALLATION

●

Insert the battery pack.

There is no ON/OFF switch: the tool is ready

to operate as soon as a loaded battery pack

is mounted.

●

Unplug the battery pack when the tool

is not used.

●

Do not leave the battery pack on the

charger when the charger power supply

is off.

OPERATING MODE

When the tool is powered on, the Desoutter logo

is displayed and the LEDs are blinking.

●

Wait for a few seconds while the software is

being initialized.

● Refer to the user manual 6159921020 (ExB) /

6159921150 (ExBA) at http://resource-center.

desouttertools.com to learn how to set up

and use the functionalities of the software

embedded in the tool.

MAINTENANCE INSTRUCTIONS

Maintenance should be performed by qualified

personnel only.

●

Prior to any maintenance task, disconnect the

tool.

Overhaul and preventive maintenance

is recommended at regular intervals

once per year or after maximum 500,000

tightenings depending on which occurs

sooner.

Assembly and disassembly

●

When disassembling the tool electronics, take

extra care for the wires when pulling out the

connectors.

●

When disassembling the tool front assemblies,

take care for the torque transducer wires.

●

Follow standard engineering practices and

refer to figures/exploded view for the mounting

of component subassemblies.

●

Prior to putting the equipment back into

service, check that its main settings have not

been modified and that the safety devices

work properly.

Meaning of the pictograms

Left hand thread

When reassembling, apply the

recommended glue
When reassembling, tighten to the

required torque

When reassembling, lubricate with the

required grease or oil.

Lubrication

●

Do not apply too much grease on gears or

bearings; a thin coat shall be sufficient.

The use of spare parts other than those

originally supplied by the manufacturer

may result in a drop in performance or

in increased maintenance and level of

vibration and in the full cancellation of the

manufacturer’s liability.

According to Directive 2012/19/

CE concerning Waste Electrical and

Electronic Equipment (WEEE), this

product must be recycled.
