Air Sensing Switch

(80,000 BTU/Hr Model)

1. Remove upper shell (see

page 10).

2. Clean air sensing switch

paddle. Use soft cloth
moistened with kerosene
or solvent. 

IMPORTANT:

Do not scrub. Use gentle
cleaning action. Do not
bend paddle or paddle
arm.

3. Blot paddle dry with a soft

cloth.

4. Replace fan guard and

upper shell.

1. Remove upper shell (see

page 10).

2. Remove fan (see page 10).
3. Remove spark plug cable

from spark plug.

4. Place 11/16" socket onto

spark plug mounting nut.
Spark plug mounting nut
is located on spark plug
threads inside combustion
chamber (see Figures 12
and 14).

5. Loosen and remove spark

plug with 13/16" spark
plug socket. Be careful not
to strike air sensing switch
paddle.

6. Clean and regap spark

plug electrodes. Regap
electrodes to .06/.08 inch.
