F. Compression straps
The same straps that are used to restrict abduction and rotation can also be used to
add compression and support over selected areas. The surface on the brace is made
of a loop material. The semi-elastic strap attaches easily to that surface. The force
from the outside will be transferred over to the skin surface by the silicone tapes on the
inside of the brace.
1. Attach the strap at the starting point. Stretch the strap and attach it over the
area where more compression is needed. Adjust the strap tension if needed.
2. The strap can also be used to add additional lift or support. The options is
almost unlimited, apply with the same technique as tape.
