6.1. Replace O-Ring in Valve
1. Disconnect grinder from air supply.
2. Clamp motor housing 3148432 by means of chucking jaws 461521 into a
vice.
3. Loosen hose connection 3148562 (AF 27, right-hand thread).
4. Unscrew exhaust hose 3148341A complete (AF 14).
5. Version with lever valve: Pull off sleeve 3138341.
Version with twist valve: Pull off twist sleeve 314649.
NOTE
Ball 802182 in valve housing 314736 may drop out and get
lost.
6. Unscrew plug 312046 (with o-ring 803374) by means of a suitable hand
screwdriver from valve housing 314736 (right-hand thread).
7. Take out pressure spring 312051 and valve pin 322685 resp. 301289
(with o-ring 802501).
8. Replace o-ring 802501.
9. Mount valve pin 322685 resp. 301289 (with o-ring 802501) and pressure
spring 312051.
10. Assemble plug 312046 (with o-ring 803374) into valve housing 314736
(right-hand thread).
11. Version with lever valve: Mount sleeve 3138341.
Version with twist valve: Mount twist sleeve 314649.
12. Assemble exhaust hose 3148341A complete (AF 14).
13. Tighten hose connection 3148562 (AF 27, right-hand thread).
6.2. Replace Vanes
1. Disconnect grinder from air supply.
2. Clamp motor housing 3148432 by means of chucking jaws 461521 into a
vice.
3. Loosen hose connection 3148562 (AF 27, right-hand thread).
4. Unscrew exhaust hose 3148341A complete (AF 14).
5. Unscrew spindle bearing 314945 G from motor housing (AF 24, left-hand
thread).
6. Unscrew twist valve 3148192E resp. lever valve 3148192B by hand from
motor housing (right-hand thread).
7. Slide motor 372798 F completely out of motor housing and take off in-
termediate ring 314842.
8. Clamp motor on its rotor cylinder 302924 into fixing device 460474.
9. Pull off shaft-side bearing cover from rotor.
10. Remove rotor cylinder.
