Handset Menu function 5: REGISTRATION
This function allows the user to register the handset to a specified base.
Before registering a handset to the base, the base should first be put into subscription mode, by pressing and
holding the
key for 5 seconds, the base
IN USE/CHARGE
LED flashing.
1) Press
SET/OK
key, then press

▼
key to select
REGISTRATION
item.
2) Press
SET/OK
key to enter.
3) Press
▲
or
▼
key to select BASE names. (If the handset already has a registration to the base,
there is a “+” on the right side of the display, and you should choose another base number if you
don’t want to lose that one)
4) Press
SET/OK
key to confirm, the display shows
PIN?
, key in the 4 digit PIN code for the base (the
default PIN code is 0000)
5) Press
SET/OK
key to confirm, and the display will flash
“SEARCHING 1”(or 2,3,4)
If the base is not found, the handset will return to the previous registration state.
If have several handsets, repeat the above steps to register another handset, and the
successfully registered handset will displays HS2 or HS3 on the LCD according to the
registration sequence.
NOTE:
Press
key to page the handset when difficult to look for.
OPERATION
Speakerphone operation & volume control
Press
key once to obtain a dial tone, dial your number, when you hear the called party answers the phone.
You can also answer an incoming call by pressing the
key once.
During hands-free mode, press

or
▼
key to adjust the speaker volume. There are 6 levels for selection.
NOTE:
If you press
key to use earpiece, you can press the
▲
or
▼
key to adjust the earpiece volume,
there are 5 levels for selection.
Mute the mouthpiece
During a call, press
SET/OK
key once to mute the mouthpiece and “
MUTE
” will show on LCD. Press
SET/OK
key again to get back to the call and the
MUTE
will disappear.
Caller ID
– type I & II
TYPE I
After you have applied the caller ID service, you can see the caller party phone number during an incoming
ring.
TYPE II
During the conversation, the phone number of the incoming call of the third party can be seen in the unit.
This function can be worked when the user applied the Telecom service.
Auto timer
The timer will start automatically after the telephone line is engaged.
Flash (R)
Press
R/CLR
key to reset the line without leaving the handset.
Pause
Press
RD/P
key will insert a time delay of 3.6 seconds in a dialing sequence.
