8. Rotate the chain to make sure that the teeth of the chain caught in the teeth of the sprocket wheel.
9. Replace the cover shield together with the brake circuit so that the bolt stood in a hole intended for them,
and the chain tension adjustment pin stood in the lower opening of the guide bar it (Pic. 9).

10. Install both nuts, tighten them by hand, and then follow the instructions for adjusting the chain tension.
After the necessary chain tension, tighten the nuts completely.
Adjusting the chain tension
ATTENTION!
In operation, the chain is required to wear protective gloves.
The correct chain tension is crucial and must be checked both before starting work and periodically during
operation. Take the time to adjust the chain, this will increase the performance of the saw and extend its
service life.
ATTENTION!
The new chain sags quickly and requires tension after 5-8 slices. This is characteristic of new
chains; over time, the interval between tension increases.
Toothed wheel guide bar and the crankshaft chain wear much more quickly if excessive chain slack or too tight.

Chain tension adjustment procedure
1. Loosen the nuts securing the guide bar (protective cover with brake flap), turn the adjusting screw (D)
clockwise to tighten the chain. To reduce chain tension, turn adjusting screw (D) counterclockwise. Make
sure that the chain is located on the entire periphery of the guide bar (Fig. 11).
