OPERATION INSTRUCTIONS

BEFORE USING YOUR CALLER ID PHONE, YOU MUST INSTALL 3 AAA  BATTERIES OR PLUG INTO THE
DC6V/100mA  AC -DC ADAPTOR.

FUNCTION AND OPERATION DESCRIPTION

Setting at the on-hook state

  At the on -hook state, press

STORE

 into setting mode, and

 LCD

will display: 

“ SET    1    DATE ”

 Use

UP/DOWN

 to select among different items. When you choose one item, press

 again to go into its

setting, After you finish with one item, you should press 

STORE

 again in order to confirm and/or move to another

item. To change items, always use

 UP/DOWN. 

If you want to leave the setting mode at any time, press

DEL

.

The setting of different items are shown in detail as follows:

DATE/TIME

When

LCD

 displays  

“SET    1    DATE”

  press

 , and the year digits will flash. Use

UP/DOWN

 to

change the year (STEP is 1), then press               into setting of the month.

Repeat

 the operation to set the

date,hour and minute by tum.When finished,

LCD

will automatically display the corresponding day of the week.

LCD CONTRAST

 to select among 5 degrees when

you prefer. The default setting is 3.

ALARM CLOCK

, and you will see on

                                   (total 3 alarm

clocks selectable). Use

UP/DOWN

 to make the option, and then press

. 3 alarm clocks could be setting

with different time.

Operation at the on-hook state

Receiving incoming calls: when receiving a phone call, LCD will display the phone number together with the
information of date, time, and a serial number. A new  number will carry a NEW !, icon, and a repeated number
will carry a REP! icon ,A private call (when the caller prefers his/her number to be hidden) will display !! , A cal l
out lf service will displays! . An incorrect incoming signal will display!!. If it is a FSK format CLI signal, the current
month, date and time display will be updated (while the year remains unchanged).

Checking incoming calls: You can use 

UP/DO WN

 to view the information of the incoming calls including pho ne

number, date, and time, To scroll rapidly, press and hold

UP/DOWN.

Re-dialing an incoming numbe

r,

For a local call, just press the 

RD

 key when the number is on display

.

For a

long distance call press twice to add

“0”

at beginning of the area code if it has not been set the telephone

should be unlocked

.

Pre-dialing

:

Enter a phone number and press the 

RD

 key. In the case of any input mistakes, use 

DEL

 to

correct.

  In the Pre-dialing mode, use it to correct  any input mistakes.

When scrolling incoming calls, use it to delete a phone number, Press and hold it for 4 seconds will delete
all the incoming calls.

Operation at the off -hook state

Alarm function

The alarm will be started for about 1 minute if the alarm clock is turned on. Press any key to stop it and return to
on-hook state. The alarm clock 3 will be turned off aut omatically after every alarm. If the telephone is on
operation during alarm time, the function will be cancelled this time.
