OPERATING INSTRUCTIONS
1. Assemble symmetrically the transverse rods 131 at the rack
end sides (1 & 41 using the included screws 161.
Note:
The
transverse rods can be mounted in various configurations.
2. After the rods are screwed in, locate on the rack sides (1 & 41 the pre
drilled holes corresponding to the snowmobile make and the model.
1.
Unlock the Kimpex Connect mounting base as described in
steps 1, 2 and 3 of 402100 kit Operating Instructions.
3. Mount the accessory attachment and anchor bases 12 & 51
lo the rack end sides (1 & 41 using included M6 hardware
17 & 81 with a tightening torque of
5.5 Nm (4 ft-lb).
4. To combine several racks, use the remaining screws 16)
and nuts 191 to secure them together. (optional step)
2. Install the accessory by positioning bases 2 & 3
facing the Connect system mounted on the tunnel.
The accessory will be slightly off-center.
3. Push the accessory laterally so that bases 2 & 3 sit
properly in their respective anchor points.
4. Lock the Connect mounting base as described in
step 4 of 402100 kit Operating Instructions.
