With an assistant, slide base plate on frame and install
1/2

 x 3-1/2

”

 bolt through base plate and previously

installed spacer bushing.  On inside of frame, use
heavy frame washer, 1/2

”

 lock washer, and 1/2

”

 hex

nut.  Do not tighten. NOTE:  Use

Blue on

all bolt threads.

8.

Slide spacer bushing into large hole in frame, on each
side, from inside of frame outwards.

10. Install 3/8

”

 x 1

”

 bolt and flat washer from inside out on

previously drilled 3/8

”

 holes on front of vehicle and

through base plate.  Use 3/8

”

 lock washer and 3/8

”

 hex

nut on bolts.  Snug this bolt, then tighten 1/2

”

 x 3-1/2

”

bolts and then go back and tighten the 3/8

”

 x 1

”

 bolts.

NOTE:  Sides of base plate that go down the side of
frame should be straight, if not, adjust and retighten.
Also, the previously drilled 3/8

”

 holes may have to be

re-drilled or reamed out, using Base plate as template.

11. Drill 3/8

”

 holes, two on each side, through sides of base

plate as shown in pictures.  Use 3/8

”

 x 1

”

 bolts, 3/8

”

lock washers, and 3/8

”

 hex nuts.  Tighten these bolts.

12. Reinstall bumper with the six bolts

13. Reinstall windshield washer tank using two of the three

previously removed bolts.  Where washer tank lays on
base plate, use enclosed 6mm-1.00 x 25mm bolt, 1/4

”

lock washer, and 1/4

”

 flat washer to fasten.  NOTE: On

some models, it maybe necessary to trim mounting tab
as shown in picture to clear base plate.

14. Reinstall horn with 5/16

”

 x 1

”

 bolt, 5/16

”

 lock washer,

and 5/16

”

 hex nut through hole provided in base plate

gusset.

14. Reinstall facia and hardware.
